Land Day

30th March 2007

Land Day 2007 was commemorated with a difference. Many of people, Palestinian community and supporters of Palestine have come in numbers to support the visiting Palestinian swimming team, competing at the12th FINA world championships in Melbourne. The mission was clear, on this Land day, bring the land to the people, the Palestinian swimmers. Bring Ramallah to Melbourne, make them feel at home.

PCA also organized a special gathering for the community youth to meet with the young swimmers, and exchanged gifts with the visitors.
